5. BACKGROUND OF THE PROBLEM:
i.
The villagers of our country, especially
the women in the village, are unaware of their rights and responsibilities to
the society.

We got an astounding
response from the students and teachers after our seminars.
ii.
Understanding the real issue and lending a helping hand to
them.
iii.
Able to see positive response on their faces while we were
teaching them.

Winning place in their hearts.

It was more of a learning experience for us. We were exposed
to other realities of life which we were unaware of till then.

Distributed books to the
children about inspirational stories.
8. OBSTACLES FACED:
i.
Permission from principal and other
authorities.
ii.
To find space for our sessions without
disturbing their regular schedule. As we were told by the principal not to
disturb their regular schedule.
iii.
Encouraging children to attend the
sessions.
iv.
Initially when we started up with the
sessions not much kids used to come, thinking it was not of much use to them,
but slowly we started encouraging them, motivating them to just try listen
once, and as they started attending, their interest got built up to know more.
v.
When women empowerment programs are
conducted, it is very difficult to convince the ladies for attending our
session
vi.
Permanent place for planting saplings.

10. ROSES AND THORNS:
“The enthusiasm of the students made me awestruck. I learnt doing
things on my own. It was a chance for me to learn more rather than teach them.”
“First
of all I felt this SSR would be little tough. But once when we started we
understood the essence of social responsibility. It is the best memory of my
life, working with my team and with the students I have interacted.”
