5.       BACKGROUND OF THE PROBLEM:
·         India is now home to the world's largest number of blind people.of the 37 million
people across the globe who are blind, over 15 million are from India.
·         There is hardly no awareness among people regarding eye donation.
·         Even now a days there are people who consider eye donation a sin.
·         We hope to change the society and perspective of atleast a bunch of people through our campaign.

7.        CONQUEST:
·         We are very pleased with ourselves for coming up with such an idea which gave us life changing experience.
·         Our main achievement is we were able to be a part of an organization named “HOPE” meant for the empowerment of blind kids.
·          “HOPE” celebrated the independence day with kids and conducted a blood donation            campaign.
8.       OBSTACLES FACED:
·          It is very hard to make the children assemble in one room as the rooms are small and     there are considerably more children.
·          Providing food for all the students also posed us a challenge as it needed some    managerial skills to organize and make the process flow much smoother. As there are  only two care takers, one will be busy in preparing food  for  the kids and the other is  maintaining a medical shop to earn daily money for sake of children.
9.       TOTAL MAN HOURS FOR ACCOMPLISHMENT:
·          2 days
10.   ROAD AHEAD:
·         We hope we will be able to continue working as a group for the welfare of blind kids.
·         We are planning to donate Braille books for their education.
·         We are hoping to meet them as frequent as possible.
·         We pledged to donate our eyes and conduct awareness campaign on eye donation.
11.   ROSES AND THORNS:
·         The two days camp had left us many memories and will remain with us forever. we thank ourselves for sincere and tireless effort.
·         It was a great experience and we could meet many people.
·         We could literally see the difference between a blind person and normal person.
·         It is very difficult to survive without eyes.
·         We learnt moral values of time and teamwork.I was overwhelmed with the response we got from the kids at school.
·         This opportunity was really inspiring and also made each one of us to be thankful to God and our sincere thanks to CIR dept.
