4.       ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN:

·         Planting trees at road side which helps in giving shelter to the people

·         Explained how planting trees will helpful to the society and how it helps in reducing global warming. Also told disadvantages over deforestration

·         To develop the interest to them towards this activity.came up with an idea of “PLANT A TREE ON YOUR BIRTHDAY.”

5.       BACKGROUND OF THE PROBLEM:

·         The reason behind selecting this programme is in this day to day life earth's average temperature increasing due to the effect of green house gases, such as carbondioxide, emissions from burning fossil fuels or from deforestration.

·         Trees are an important part of every   community. Our streets, parks, playgrounds and backyards are lined with trees that create a peaceful and pleasing environment. Trees increase our quality of life by bringing natural elements and wildlife habitats into urban settings.

·         Trees also lower the air temperature and reduce the heat intensity of the greenhouse effect by maintaining low levels of CO2.

·         Wood was the very first fuel and it is still used for cooking and heating by about half of the population.

·         At the time of doing this project already a project of planting one lakh trees is going on by the government.

·         Doing the project which helps to reduce global warming gives motivation to do further things like this. Creating interest among children for doing the activities helpful to society.

·        Successfully planting 100 trees in a day. Implementing our idea and taking a promise by the children that planting a tree on every birthday.

8.       OBSTACLES FACED:

·         While  selecting a place that where we can implement our project perfectly

·         Explaining the principal of the school about our project and why we selected that particular plantation program

·         Species to be planted to suit that particular area.

9.       TOTAL MAN HOURS FOR ACCOMPLISHMENT:

·         24 hours

10.   ROAD AHEAD:

·         In future, everyone must plant small plants atleast ones in a week.

·         Students should be aware of planting trees.

·         We our team visit to watch development after what we done there.

11.   ROSES AND THORNS:

·         We would like to thank the cir department for their guidance.

·          After the discussion the principal and some of the teachers in the school gave positive response to us.

·         At the end children promised us that they will protect the trees as well as environment and they are also willing to do such activities like this.
