•          Presentation session for higher secondary students in the school.

5.       BACKGROUND OF THE PROBLEM :

•          In our country, our youth is not very well aware of the opprotunities they have to develop a good career.

·         We were really happy with the response that we received from the students.

·         The students too got motivated to go about and set a career goal in their mind now itself.

8.        OBSTACLES FACED :

•      To go about our SSR project we had to take permission from the higher authorities of the school
•      We had to assure them that nothing offending content will be displayed before them.

9.       TOTAL MAN HOURS FOR ACCOMPLISHMENT :

·         28 hrs

1         ROAD AHEAD :

·         Hold similar sessions in different institutions and in the process spread awareness among a larger group of students.

·         Spread awareness among parents to show them different career options and urge them not to put pressure on their children and to support their interest zones.

·         Prepare a detail plan for each career option mentioned and show it whoever wants help.

1     ROSES AND THORNS :

“We knew that we had to give our best shot because we knew its importance from our past experiences. The children were very excited for the session. Initially they weren’t that serious but as we proceeded we saw them becoming more serious. After the presentation, children were more serious and we could understand this from the questions that they asked us during question- answer session.  “
