DAY IN TDMC HOSPITAL”
2. MISSION:

There were a lot of waste
disposal techniques people were not aware off.

Even though a set of people
knew about the techniques, they were not using the dust bins and waste disposal
methods seriously.
·
People are not aware of the
consequences of throwing out wastes into the open especially being in a
Hospital premises.

4. ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN :
·
We had planned that the classes
would be limited to 2 wards in the Surgery Department due to the time
constraints and permission clauses.
·
After that we started blending
in with the crowd. We invited them to listen to our talk on ‘Waste management
and Cleanliness’.
The
talk was divided into 3 sections.
·
Introduction to the talk, giving a brief idea about what the
talk would be on.
·
Talk on Various methods of Bio Degradable and Non Bio Degradable
Waste management.
·
Insight into the basic cleanliness we need to follow while in
hospital premises and in our daily lives.
·
5. BACKGROUND OF THE PROBLEM
:
·
There were a lot of waste
disposal techniques people were not aware off.
·
Even though a set of people

Impacts of wastes on to the

The stage fright just
disappears after talking with a huge crowd that too standing right amongst
them.

Finding time for our project without disturbing their regular schedule.

Around 48 hours of work
10. FUTURE PLANS – ROAD AHEAD
:

Learned a lot of waste management techniques and try to
implement it.
11. ROSES AND THORNS :
·
It
was a memorable five day journey of sharing, caring and mutual learning. We
understood the hurdles faced by them, and that being privileged to have a
luxurious life; it is our duty to help others rise up on their feet.
·
