5.       BACKGROUND OF THE PROBLEM:
·         Some tribes in Kerala have come to the mainstream while most of them are far from development and education.
·          Many tribal villages on the hills are without proper roads and facilities like electricity, drinking water, and primary health centers.
·         The lack of health care centers is a major problem to the villagers. The health condition of the village is not appreciable.
·         The health condition of the village is not appreciable.

7.        CONQUEST:
·         We were really happy to see the children enjoying our session with a whole lot of enthusiasm.
·         While discussing waste management, we were happy to see the children cleaning their surroundings, putting the litter in a waste pit without even asked to do so.
·         We got attached to the villagers and they invited us for our next visit during the December vacation.
8.       OBSTACLES FACED:
·         The transportation was the main issue. There are no bus services and auto rickshaw is the only mode of transportation.
·         We had to buy food from the nearby town which was 10 kms away from the village.
·         There were no proper toilets, we being girls faced issues with sanitation.
9.       TOTAL MAN HOURS FOR ACCOMPLISHMENT:
·         2 Days
10.   ROAD AHEAD:
·         Most of the children in the village are studying in a school outside the village by making use of the hostel facilities provided by the government.
·         We are planning to visit the village again to meet them so that we could have an interaction with them.
·         We gave a petition for the construction of a health center and proper transportation facility to the Mrs .Divya, the ward member of the colony.
11.   ROSES AND THORNS:
·         We are really happy that we had the opportunity to go to the village and interact with the people over there. We learned the living standard of the minority section of people in our society.
·         It was a great experience and we could meet many people. We could see how people live with limited technology and hardly any sophisticated facilities.
·         We could literally see the difference between an environment full of trees and one with concrete building and vehicles more than trees.
·          On seeing their plight, many troubles in our lives which we consider to be big seemed to fade away.
·         This opportunity was really inspiring and also made each one of us to be thankful to God.
